Can't give user/group permissions

I have advanced permissions on, but still can't give group or user permissions. When I try list of users just doesn't show. I attached screenshot. Clicking on the select button do nothing. Anyone had this problem?
Can someone help me? I've tried to reinstall concrete but it didn't help.
I guess this community is dead, eh?
What version are you using? I believe there were a bunch of fixes to permissions issues in 5.7.4 and 5.7.4.2

I made fresh install with elemental theme. I can add permissions to specific user, but without full page permissions user can't see dashboard. With full page permissions I have to change manualy permissions for every area one the page. It's really annoying and still user can edit header and footer. It just doesn't seem right.

Well I'm sorry that you don't like the way that Advanced Permissions work, but it sounds like the actual functionality of the Permissions modal is functioning for you.
