Cant set site wide access to add blocks?

I have created a group that i want to give the ability to add blocks site-wide. seems i have to click on every page, and set permission to "Add Block To Area" for every area on every page!

If you have advanced permissions turned on (you can do this in the system settings) and you want them to only be able to edit every area of every page you could do the following:

Go to the dashboard and go to Full Site Map.

Click on the topmost node, "Home" and choose "Set Permissions".

Now click on "Edit Contents" then click the "Add" button next to "Included" and choose the group you would like to be able to edit.

Click Save and you should be good to go.

Also I forgot to mention that you need to make sure that at the top of the "Set Permissions" pop-up you have Subpage Permissions set to "Inherit the permissions of this page". That will cause the change to take effect on all of your pages.
