Change or delete Homepage

I think im missing something, or ive been staring at the screen for to long.

I want to delete my homepage and have another page I created my home page. Is that possible?

You need to have a page at the root of your site.

You can avoid that by using redirects, but Concrete5 needs to have a root/home page.

Thats what I want to change, I want to change the root site.

I cant seem to figure it out, but my homepage has a layout I cant seem to remove, so I figured best to delete it, and move another page into its spot. I dont want a redirect.

Any ideas?

actually if I can figure out how to remove the layout option I added, id be just fine.. :/

Go to the sitemap, click on home, design and select the template you want??! Or create a template called home.php, there's no need to create a different page, the home page is just a page like any other page..

if you mean the new layout splitter feature, click on the "+" and a menu appears where you can delete the layout

Hello, I've seen this post and it's just want I want to do, to take a page beneath home and make it home for my website, but I can't find the way.
