Go the page you wish to change-

1. Edit Page
2. Design
3. Select your 'Right Sidebar'
4. Save

I think he meant mass action for multiple pages at a time. Also have been wondering this myself since the beginning of my c5 journey why there isn't such mass actions available in the core...

I too wish there were more bulk editing functionality. The only one I know about is changing attributes for multiple pages (by going to Dashboard -> Sitemap -> Search).

I do mean for changing all pages at once. For example, if you change the default settings of a page type, and check that all child pages have the new setting, you are done. Is there a way to do this for all of my 80+ pages that are full width that I now need right sidebar?

From my understanding... I don't think you can do that as of yet.

You may have to do all 80+ pages individually. This will probably take about 30-40 mins. If you also set the page defaults then at least you won't have to worry about it when adding the same page-type in the future.

Or as Jordanlev mentioned above, you could try Dashboard>> Sitemap>> Page Search>> Select all pages>> click on one of them and select 'Design'... whether this will apply the design to all the pages is something I'm not sure of (Haven't tried it myself).

Maybe someone else has a hard coded solution. I'm sorry I couldn't be of more help.

I know this is an old thread ... just wanted to add that in 5.6.1.2 the Page search method works really well.

Did you remove earlier versions of the page type you want to delete?

No but when I changed all the pages en masse to a different page type, it seems to have changed the previous versions too (I checked a few random ones) so in theory no page should be using the right_sidebar one. Funny thing is I didn't even have this page type ... it was there from the install (minimal - not content). Hoping to avoid having to delete endless old versions ... groan!
