Changing text of buttons in forms

Hi,
to change the text displayed in the Submit button of forms, I modified the value tag of formBlockSubmitButton in line 694 of /concrete/blocks/form/controller.php (Concrete5 5.5.2). Even though I cleared concrete's cache and the cache of the browser, the button still displays "Submit" instead of the intended string. Any ideas what I'm doing wrong?
