Changing the menu name

Permalink 1 user found helpful
Hi,

I'm starting a new website, pickmeupmagazine.org. I have a problem (obviously). I can't get the menu thingy to say Pick Me Up instead of "my site." It's really annoying me. Please help!

Hi Danielle,
Change this in : Dashboard - Scrapbooks - Global Scrapbook - "My-Site-Name" by selecting Edit. This opens an editor where you can change the name or insert a logo.

(p.s. If you Must clear cache after changing scrapbook entry to see the change right away)

Okay,

Well that worked Adreco, but now it's back to My Site. And no matter how many times I change it, it remains "my site."

Help!

Again...

Attractive background Danielle,
Go to "Sitewide Settings" in your dashboard... top left of page is a form block to name your site. Change this from "My Site" to "Pick Me Up Magazine". Clear Cache (speed settings to lower right of Sitewide Settings page) and refresh your browser. Changes should now be visible :)

(PS. once this is done first, you may need to update/change the My_Site_Name block in the Global Scrapbook to display name as you wish on the Nav bar area)

Go to dashboard - Sitewide Settings, top box 'Site Name'. Change and save.

To get rid of ::Home, change the name of the page in the properties.

Hope that helped
