Changing appearance of page names

Hi, everyone.
Here's my situation: I just created a sub-page, and the page name is clickable from the parent page, but I want to make the link to the sub-page a button instead of text.
I've figured out how to do that with regular links, but when it's a page name and I click edit, I see options for navigation etc., but not for editing the link appearance.
I'm very new at this.
