column cruiser theme problems

I'm a newbie, so hopefully these are easy questions. First, I have version 5.3.3.2b1 and I use Firefox on a MacBook. Second, my site is: nanocrit.c5host.com. It is an online academic magazine. My two questions:
1. I want to add to the top menu which in my "Column Cruiser" theme only has "Home, About, Search." How do I add?
2. I can't move my blocks around like the video demo shows. I can only move my blocks up and down, not all over the place. Why?
