commerce plug-in errors

Hi guys, I'm trying to add a discount code into the commerce plug-in, but I keep getting a strange error when attempting to then use the code. ( Fatal error: Call to a member function setAttribute() on a non-object in /home/advent/public_html/packages/core_commerce/models/order/model.php on line 377)
Any help would be appreciated sorting this out!

Are you on the latest version of eCommerce? There were some discount related bugs fixed from older versions.
We are also experiencing issues with Lerteco and discount codes. This function was previously working and has stopped functioning. We are not getting any response from the developer about fixing this bug. Is anyone else having issues?
