Completely new installing add on

Hey,
I am completely new and am picking parts of a past web design from another designer to edit our companies website. I have never used concrete5. I have installed an add on via the dashboard for a photo gallery.
How do I take what I've installed through the dashboard and put it on one of our pages. For example a portfolio page?
