Composer help

Looked everywhere, are there docs to support composer. I need to know how to add content blocks. I'm using 5.6.
In 5.6 what you can do is add a block to the Page Type Defaults and then click on your block and select the Setup Block in Composer option, then when you add/edit a page of that type in Composer it will add that block to the options.
Brilliant, thanks for that. Wasn't adding a block first. Make sense now. Ta.
Nope still not working. Do the blocks have to have specific names i.e. Main, Image etc?
No worries I've sorted it, thanks:)
I still have content elements in the composer I don't need, how do I remove them?
(I didn't set them up, they were in there by default, header image, thumbnail and tags)

There are two possible ways
1. remove the blocks from the Page Type Defaults
2. Go to Dashboard -> Page Types -> Composer and uncheck the unwated attributes.
If you have to do #2, please be aware that if these attributes are used in the page type file this could result in errors on your page.

The blocks weren't in the pagetype defaults which is why I had a problem.
Fixed, made a new page and assigned it as the composer page. Still got issues with show tags and none admin authors. I don't want them to see any of the dashboard.
Thinking about building my own interface and RSS the content into the blog. Not sure yet.

OK, having downloaded ProBlog and failed to get it working cos I'm dim:)
This is what I need;
A front end page that has author permissions.
When the author logs in they see the composer editor and they add their post.
Simplz.
Any ideas on how to do this?
