Composer - load categories
Permalink
I'm not entirely happy with a bought news plugin, so I have set up composer, gave it a category attribute and set up a page list block to display a preview list.
That works all fine, but I would like now to display the existing categories somewhere on the site, they should be links and when clicked, then the entries should load restricted to the selected category.
So someone clicks "2011" and the page list shows only the composer articles with category attribute set to 2011.
What I need is the possibility to give the page list this restriction when a link is clicked by the user, so not a restriction when an editor sets the page list block somewhere...
Any help that leads me in the right direction is gladly appreciated.

Hi Walter,
This How-To may help, but you are going to have to write some custom PHP to filter a page list based on your attributes.
Chad - if it had been approved, that might have helped :)

Good to know, and takes care of that old link (and it's only $15).

does that out of the box. $20 saves you hours of time. dunno. seems worth it to me!
