Concrete 5 Dashboard Navigation bar won't disappear when NOT logged-in???
Hello Guys,
Just wondered if anyone can help please tell me why the C5 bar at the top of the browser, which usually contains the buttons/links to edit pages or give access to the dashboard has appeared on 2 of my website pages ONLY, when NOT logged-in and I can't seem to get rid of it? Any thoughts welcome please?
I have tried clearing the cache and that makes no difference.
The page URL's are:
http://www.fremingtoncommunity.com/events/...
http://www.fremingtoncommunity.com/events/party_at_the_manor/...
Thanks
David

Hi, Thanks for your reply.
Every page featured in the main navigation drop-down menu are the same page type: "Right Sidebar" pages.
As far as the the page source code which you have shown goes, I'm not really sure what I should do with that information, please can you explain the relevance and what I should do?
If it helps, this has only appeared since I upgraded C5 for this website to 5.6 a couple of days ago - I don't know if that makes any difference?
Thanks again

hmm... this is strange behaviour and exists only under your 'Events', page.
If you add another sub page under 'Events', does the same apply for the newly created page? Have you done anything with page permissions on 'Events' page?
EDIT: The more I think about it, the more I think something is wrong with the permissions for 'Events' and sub pages inheriting those permissions.
I suggest you compare your permissions between 'Events' and 'About us' and see if you can find any differences.

Wow, you were right it was the advanced page permission and all because I had the editors listed before the administrator on "add sub-page" (see screengrab). As soon as I deleted the editor permission to do this and put them back in again, but this time after the administrator in the list (as it is in the permissions on every other page) the edit bar disappeared.
Thanks, really appreciate you help - you're a star.

Excellent! Glad I could help.
If not, could you show off your footer.php for the page type showing the edit bar?
Looking at the page source somehow this is included in the faulty pages:
