Concrete 8.3; global area behavior changed
Permalink
Hi,
I have upgraded my concrete5 instance several times now. At one point, I believe during the 5.8 version, the global area behavior has changed.
Before I was able to add global areas and they would be separated by languages as if every language was a separated site instance. Now I cannot do that anymore, when I add a global area it is really global, thus common to all languages.
How can I get the old behavior without having to create separated global areas per language? I have four separated languages in my instance.
The areas which have been created on the older version of concrete5 are still separated by languages. I have noticed this issue on the new created ones because they are not separated by language. Having them common to all the languages defies the purpose and having a normal area means I have to modify that area In every page.
I just want to be able to get the global areas per language, as it was before.
Thank you very much for any suggestion.
