Concrete5 Email Verification - Registration
Permalink
Hi All,
I'm just wondering if there is a way to prove an email address is valid using Concrete5? By this, once the user has registered, they will receive an email with a link, where they click to prove they are human/have access to the email that they registered with?
If not, has anyone done something similar with custom code? If so, would be interesting to see how you did it!
Regards,
Dan

Thanks for the link, gave it a try but it doesnt do what I need it to do. Been trawling the forums and cant seem to find where anyone does this. Do people never bother validating whether an email address is really or not? Thus letting anyone pretty much access there site?
I see the section now, where you can either approve manually, email validation or sign up and go.
Is it possible to have email validation and approve manually?

This thread covers a wide date range, but appears to be related.

I would be interested in learning about how this would be done in 5.7.
