Concrete5 News Site

Hello fellow c5ers,

I am a high school student constructing a news site for our school newspaper, when I stumbled upon c5. It seems like a pretty powerful and efficient CMS compared to Joomla and Drupal.

Does anyone have any advice for using concrete5 to construct and manage a news website? Are there any examples out there? Are there any addons that are notably useful for a news site?

create a news page beneath home. foreach news create a page beneath news. display your news with page list block on a page you like and use a various template that shows up your meta data or truncated content from the news pages. this block might help
