"Content" Blocks not staying vertically aligned
Permalink
Hello all,
I'm building the page athttp://s454299809.onlinehome.us/C5/index.php/staff...
I'm simply stacking several CONTENT Blocks on top of each other.
All is well until I add the the last Staff Member - Alyssa - for some reason the blocks don't render properly and lose the vertical alignment. (See attachments to see how it looks in Edit Mode and then how it renders).
I can't figure our why this is happening - could this be a bug?
Thank you !
Ted

Dear Gondwana:
Kludge or not - IT WORKS (after setting the Font color to WHITE so that the code didn't literally show up on the page) - and I thank you for the "solution".
Perhaps a future update will fix this issue. In the meantime - I can move ahead on the site.
Once again - THANK YOU !

Glad. :) I'm surprised that the code showed up; it shouldn't, if you place it into an HTML block of its own. If you just paste the code into the bottom of your content block, all bets are off. There's a chance that the content block editor could take a dislike to the code and do nasty things to it—but if it works, then fine.
No - I went ahead and added HTML BLOCKS in between the "offending" CONTENT blocks.
It fixed the Alignment Issue right away but was showing the Text in the attached file.
so I went ahead and changed the COLOR of that text to White and it looks fine.
I know it's not "right" to do that - but hey...it's working for now !!
Thank you !

AHHHHHH - what an idiot I am.
When I pasted in your code, C5 added the Code "Tags" !!! That's why is was showing.
All fixed now.
THANKS !!

Ah, good! I was slightly worried about that. Well done on finding the cause.
If the next version of c5 doesn't change the behaviour of the content block, I might look at making a new block type that does what this HTML block is doing.

An egregious kludge that I've found is to insert an HTML block below such content blocks, with this in it:
