I can't replicate the error. Can you tell me what browser you are using (including version), and which version of Concrete5 you are using.

My best guess is that it is a javascript error - you could try reuploading the concrete folder, see if that fixes it.

Also, under 'Dashboard -> Sitewide Settings -> Rich Text Editor' Which option do you have selected? Simple, Advanced, Office or Custom?

Jon, I have tried every browser but all in vain. I am using C5 5.4.1.1 version. I have also updated concrete folder by re-uploading but still same. Also site-wide settings I have tried 1 by 1 every option but still same....:(

A rare case I presume, the history is that the website has been transferred from one hosting to another. I am new developer of this website and I think it didn't had such problem before, this is my assumption. So during transferring maybe something happened which I am still unable to locate as I am bit new to c5.

Your help is really appreciated.

Regards,

Faraz

if you have ever upgraded through c5 then the new folder would be in root/updates, if you have something there try to download c5 again and then upload it to there it its place. (you'll have to delete the current and upload the new with the same name)

Hi-

I'm receiving a different, but perhaps related?, error when trying to use edit functions in the content block. I recently upgraded to 5.4.2.1 and installed the Example FAQ addon, and created a new page type and custom attribute to hide the "read more" link if wanted, using these instructions:http://www.concrete5.org/marketplace/addons/example-faq/questions-a... I don't know if any of these were the cause?

I've attached a screenshot, and am posting a new thread here:http://www.concrete5.org/index.php?cID=211407....

If you find out anything for the error you're having, please share!

Thanks,
Amanda

Ok, I deleted the update and reuploaded it manually, and everything works now. I guess there was a problem with the original update install.
