Copying the column text block from Elemental
Permalink
I'm trying to copy the column text block from the first page of the Elemental theme, but I just can't figure out how to do it.
I can copy an individual column and paste but then the formatting disappears completely and the text spreads out all over the width of the page.
Please help.

It's the area that I've marked red that I want to copy and use again on the front page.
Thanks.

It looks like you have a custom layout (row) made up of three columns. In each column you have a block. The individual blocks can be copied, but the custom layout of three columns cannot be copied. When you copy a single block and then paste it into a full width area, the block will be as wide as the area.
You will need to create another three column custom layout to paste the individual blocks into.

To better understand your question, please take a screenshot of what you are copying and where you are pasting it.
