Creating links that will work when site moved from sub-folder to root

I am building a site with C5 installed in a sub-folder. When the site is complete and tested I will move it to the root folder.

My problem is how can I specify links to other pages on the site in TinyMCE that will work both when the site is in a sub-folder and when it is moved to the root.

If I could include <?=DIR_REL?> in the TinyMCE href link that would solve my problem but that isn't possible.

I really don't want to have to go and edit a whole lot of links to get this to work!

As long as you use "Insert Link to Page" when you add your links, you can move the site anywhere just fine and the links will automatically update accordingly.. The only thing you might have to do is clear the cache within the CMS when you move the site.

Thanks so much. I've been pondering how to solve this for a while.

I've been using the "Insert/Edit Link" toolbar button, not really noticing the "Insert Link to Page" option above it!
