Custom Attributes not appearing in Search

Hey all,
I've added a few custom attributes to some pages, and have selected the checkbox "Content included in sitewide page search index.", but nothing shows up when I search for any of the attributes.
Am I missing something? Do I need to modify the search block?

Have you run automated jobs to re-index the site, and cleared your site cache?

I think I am missing something though. If create a checkbox attribute, and give it a name, then set attribute to searchable - if checked, would the name of the attribute not be included in a search?
Or would it just be the value of the checkbox (1 or 0)?

Ah sorry I see, I didn't pick up that it was for a checkbox attribute... I think you are correct - As far as I understand, it is just the value that is searchable, and not the attribute name itself.
