Custom template not available?
Permalink 1 user found helpful
Hi folks, John here, C5 noob.
I bought a custom theme, and the instructions call for a "custom theme" to be enabled for the header block. The problem is that there are no custom themes available? How do i find this custom theme, and how to I enable it?
cheers!

Thanks much for the quick reply... This is beginning to remind me of trying out Drupal!
I installed into /packages, went the add functionality, activate theme route. but when i click onto the header block and select custom templates, pop up says there are none available. ??

have you tried clearing your cache? @dashboard sitewide settings.?
also make shure you installed in /packages and not concrete/packages.
Thank much folks. It was a bit goofy, had to delete an image that i thought was a block, and then add a block and apply the template to it. Thanks!!
Have you already installed the theme? (/packages)
if so, you should install the theme from dashboard, themes or skins.
if it calls only for the header custom template you will find it clicking on the block in edit mode and choosing templates, then choose the one you need from the dropdown menu.
hope this helps.
