Dashboard Statistics Query

Hi

is there anyway of exporting stat data into a table? Would like to record number of visits. I am referring to the default weekly stats which I have been recording manually. Im also trying to explain to my boss why the stats are so different between concrete and google analytics. Dashboard stats will show 300 visits and GA shows 15. I need to explain it in a way as to make concrete still look great! ;)

i didn't do any work on the default stats tracking in concrete, but a few things could be happening. firstly, and this is probably the big one, GA might be excluding visits from indexing spiders/robots, where the default concrete tracking probably does not. also, the two might have some differences in how they determine what a unique visit is. for example, how long after a user sits idle will it take before it becomes a new visit on the next page load? 10 minutes? 20 minutes? and hour?

also, you may want to try the marketplace stats package (forgive me for plugging my own work here):
http://www.concrete5.org/marketplace/addons/stats/...

it'll replace the default stats readout in the dashboard with a more detailed one, and it tries to exclude hits from the common spiders, so hopefully it'll rectify the issue too.
