Default Values for Page Attributes not available any more

I last developed on C5 some months back and remember having access to the Page Attributes as part of the Page Defaults.

In C5.4.2.2 when I go to Pages and Themes -> Page Types -> Defaults I can edit the page for default set up, blocks, content, etc but I can't access the Page Attributes to set things such as hide from navigation, etc

Can someone shed some light on this?

Hi Gav,

You need to hit Settings to set the attributes, not defaults.

Pages and Themes > Page Types > Settings

Hope this helps.

Thank you adajad, but this only gives me the choice as to what Attributes to associate with a Page, not what the default for the Attribute should be.

For example, if I have an Attribute that is a check box, how do I set it to be true for some Page Types and false for others.

This is what I mean by setting defualt 'values'.

Thanks.

Ahh... I misunderstood your question then.

As far as I know it is not possible out of the box yet. Perhaps in 5.5 in late November.

Have a look at this thread:http://www.concrete5.org/community/forums/customizing_c5/custom-att...

I know this is an OLD thread, but I wonder whether anyone found a workaround for this since it appears to still be a problem.
