Default page setting not working
Permalink
In my calendar events page I have set the default to 'exclude from nav'.
This was working perfectly until I messed around with 'Advance Permissions' in order to get the blog going correctly.
Everything seems fine except the calendar events are now showing in the nav despite being told not to.
I have checked everything I know about. Is it possible the page has become corrupt?

Its just that it happened after I set the permissions for the blog.
I dont know what it is, its still doing it after turning off the setting completely, clearing the cache, doing a few other things then turning it back on.
It just wont do it any more. Thats why I was wondering if the Event page itself is somehow corrupted.
If I deleted the page and re-created it, do you think that would work? Perhaps I could turn the old one off, create a new one and see if it worked, then I would know if it was a problem with the page.
Trouble is I dont want to lose all my (clients) caledar settings which are a few now.
At the moment after creating every page we have to manually 'exclude from Nav'

strikes me more likely that the navigation you're using doesn't honor the flag for some reason, or something else changed
