Delete blocks

Hi,

I created a fresh installation of C5 (5.5.2.1) using the example blog site.
All ticks are green before running the installation.
On this site I can edit the home page, add blocks, but not delete the new added blocks.

Can this be a file or database authorization matter?
What Java version should I have?
Other suggestions?

Please help!

The Whole secret was in fact getting rid of the popup blocker in my browser! It is as simple as that. The deletions were to be acknowledged, but I simply didn't see that happen.
