Delete Icon Missing from Page Version Dialog Box, Problem approving new version of a page

On my home page, when I click on the Page Versions option to check out the page versions, there is a delete (trash can) icon on the top right that allows me to remove old page versions.
This functionality works fine. But on all of my other pages, there is no trash can icon for deleting page versions.
I've ran the Scheduled Job to delete old versions in bulk and that works ok. How do I make the delete icon appear on these other pages?
Additionally, one of my pages has an approved version that is like 3 months old. There are a dozen new versions and I can click on them and click the approve icon but nothing happens. No error or anything, it just doesn't approve my new version.

The only thing I could think of to fix the page version issue on the Contact Us page is to delete and recreated it entirely. I'm going to try that tonight.
That's probably your best bet. There's most likely not too much content on that page so it should be a breeze putting it back together. Copy & Paste can be very handy, keep the old page around until you have the new one working!!
Edit: Hmmm, I wonder if that messed up version has anything to do with not being able to "trash" other page versions?! Hopefully it will clear up both issues...

I recreated the Contact Us page this evening and deleted the old page. This fixed that issue. I figured out why I couldn't delete page versions as well. It was because the permissions needed to be unchecked and rechecked on every page. It took like 45 minutes but I redid all the permissions and now it works fine.
