Disconnecting javascript hover in default theme

Hi. Can anyone tell me how to dismantle the annoying javascript code in the otherwise wonderful default theme, so that I only get one header image?

did you perhaps set an onstate for the image in the image block? I dont see any hover when i setup a demo athttp://getconcrete5.com/demo
