"download" button won't install new theme

I found a theme that I would like to work with. When I hit the "download" button and then "install" it indicated that it installed the new theme. But I can't find it. The default theme is still there, not the new one. Could somebody please let me know what I might be ding wrong? Thanks.

If you go to "Dashboard->Themes", is you new theme there? If it's there you need to click on 'Inspect' then 'Activate' the theme to apply it to your site. If it's not there then I don't know where it could be hiding.

What is the name of the theme?

Thanks for the offer to help. For some reason it worked on a pc but not on a mac. But the problem is resolved. Thanks again.
