Dumb Question - but?

I m setting up my theme in dreamweaver, however I am using APDiv's as my coding isn't the best in the world.
Are there any issues with concrete5 and APDivs, as I can't rename the Div ID because as soon as you do this it becomes a standard Div and my formatting goes out the window.
