ecommerce: Adding Product list break tool bar and edit mode

Hello,
everytime i add a product list to a block, the page is not editable any more. If i add the product list, it is editable until i publish my edits and revisit the page again. Then there is no tool bar and the red dotted areas are there, but function like not in edit mode, e.g. following links and i can't add a block.
