eCommerce - credit card payment
Permalink
Hi C5 community,
Quick question for a quick answer. I have configured the eCommerce add-on for a client onhttp://www.roadhead.com and everything is fine, including the Paypal payment option.
So my question is the following: Can someone help me in the configuration of credit card payment (not via Paypal) right on the website in question? I've read the eCommerce document, but I can't find it. I guess it's a piece of cake for you guys.
Thanks,
Michael Caissie

hello friend i have another recommendation for you a new payment gateway for your business named payscout. It gives all of the credit facilities and easy to use just try this out.for more details visit herehttp://www.payscout.com
there's a bit more to accepting credit cards directly on your site compared to using paypal. You need to:
- Select a payment gateway, one that has a payment gateway add-on available (a 'payment method') in the concrete5 marketplace. If you find a payment gateway you really want to use but there isn't a add-on available for it, you'll need to engage a developer to create an add-on for it. (not a massive job, but they need to know what they are doing).
- Organise with the payment gateway you've selected any paperwork and hooking up with a bank account. They'll also set you up with a merchant account
- Install your payment method into concrete5, enable and configure it.
- Purchase and have set up an SSL certificate
- Ensure that your website has all required information of the payment gateway or bank (often this is terms and conditions, refund policies, certain contact details, etc)
- Test out transactions in test mode
- Flick the payment gateway over to live mode
Apart from the gateways you can find in the marketplace, I've developed one forhttp://stripe.com , it's in it's final stages of approval by the marketplace peer review board.
Also, unlike Paypal which only charges a % per transaction, credit card gateways often charge a set up fee and a yearly fee (at least that's what they do in Australia). It comes down to whether the extra cost is outweighed by your anticipated increase in sales.
