eCommerce/concrete5 headaches

I'm at my wits end. I purchased eCommerce several days ago, and assigned it to my site. Because of this, my site broke and I was unable to edit it. I started a discussion here (http://www.concrete5.org/community/forums/usage/sporadically-unable-to-edit-while-logged-in/#262246), and despite the kind replies I received, I was unable to receive appropriate assistance.

I'm on a deadline, and I need to be able to edit my site. So I reinstalled C5 -- and the new and improved (hopefully) eCommerce package. So where can I download it? I checked support, but I'm denied access because it says I no longer have a license (even though I just purchased it).

I'm giving this one more try, then its refund time.

You reinstalled C5.5 AND eCommerce add-on?

If you register your site and assign the license for the commerce add-on it should appear in your functionality folder in the dashboard?

Have you connected to the community?

Can you see/connect to your project page from the dashboard?

Have you assigned the add-on to the right project?

More info please

You put me on the right path. After I reinstalled my project on my local drive, I accidentally named my project 'admin' -- so when I connected to the market place, it saw it as a new project. The license was assigned to my previous project. Combined with my inexperience with C5... you get the drift.

I have a big, throbbing headache still, but at least I can work on my site again (reinstalling C5 solved my previous problem of being unable to edit my site). Big thanks to you and everyone who responded.

btw: if you've got an issue with a paid add-on, you should consider posting to that add-ons support area to get help from the developer behind it (be it us, or someone else)
