edit button gone. content gone

I just received my site from a freelancer who may have used non standard techniques.

I edited a box which was a google map which may have been (I've discovered while looking for help) a non standard script or something. Now none of the pages load properly and there's no edit button.

I've been to dashboard and revised to a previous version but that hasn't helped.

May be jQuery libraries conflict. Did you override any jQuery lib in your root folder?
See I already faced issue like this...

or may be your dev customized your concrete application.

Hi and thanks, I'm a novice. All I edit was click edit, change the bit of code in the box from the old map which had maps.in address to a different location but i used map.com.au instead. I changed nothing else.

thank you for the suggestion. I have already gone directly to the dashboard URL (I can't go there the normal way as there are no edit tools). I went to pages, versions and deleted the version where I made the change. This did not help!?

Is that what you meant?

did you made changes in code?

I don't think so. I edited a section which had some code, I changed the URL from google maps india with lots of numbers and letters to google maps australia with the URL from the maps page

its just so strange because I was only editing a single page but it has affected the entire site. I was not editing a page type!

I already faced this issue. This toolbar hide mostly occurred during javascript issues. From Your words, I guess I should be that kind of error. Please check your code again. or post a support mail to your dev.

In fact, as I click back through the 34 versions from sitemap, versions. They all display the newest version of text!? Very strange behavior.

I am asking about file. Did you made changes codes in the file? If you did that, versions won't help you. because each time your concrete site will read files in your server.

I made changes from the edit page in the content part of the page. I didn't touch any files.

thanks! how did you generate that error?
How do I remove that code? I can't edit and changing to old versions doesn't do anything.
