Hi Everyone -
I'm having some problems when adding blocks in conrete5. I add a block, begin typing in the info. Default type color is gray. I highlight the text, click on the box to change color - no choices appear. If I want to create a heading - the default jumps to paragraph and I can't change it either.
This gets really frustrating when I'm trying to meet a deadline and I spend all my time trying to get the program to work properly.
I am using Window 7 & Internet Explore. Have any suggestions for me?
Thanks for the assistance!

Have you used any other themes? Which IE are you using? Why not try to use FireFox? I am assuming you are trying to add a "Content" block...
Yes I have used other themes and have the same problem. IE 7 is what I am currently using. I am creating a content block. What would be the advantages of using Firefox over IE?
Sorry for the late reply. I usually test on FireFox, because the browser itself is more advance then IE. I believe Google's browser is further than FireFox, but FireFox has many addons/toolbar for coders. So for non coders, using FireFox is usually safer (I want to say all the time), see less errors, and websites are usually displayed better. Sometimes websites do not look the same from browser to browser. So I usually check Safari, FireFox and finally fix issues on IE (sometimes display is off). I am saying all this because it could be something strange going on with your personal browser. I was once coding a toolbar and did not work on my IE but worked on other people's IE (same version). But it worked on FireFox, so I was just trying to do some process of elimination.

Thank you for the response. I tried using Firefox for editing and it's working great! I appreciate the suggestion!
Thats great to hear. If you ever want to use IE, it is most likely some setting on the browser that concrete5 does not "like". Or maybe some install that you have on the browser. IE is strange like that. Also, just for comparison you could try another computer IE to see if it works correctly (just to verify this is your browser). You could also try upgrading. IE is currently on 9 and 10 is coming out soon. But if your ok/happy with using Firefox, do not even worry about anything I said. Thanks.
