Edit Option Missing on home page but present on others

I have the blog plug in and on my home page I had a blog block added. I uninstalled the blog and elmininated pages, tags, etc. I then re-installed the blog add in and my pages work fine EXCEPT for the home page.

On the home page I goto edit it, and the edit bar on the top is gone. All other pages are fine.

I tried uninstalling and reinstalling the blog section again thinking that might help, but to no avail.

Ideas??

Attached is what I see when signed in and in edit mode for the home page only

I take that back there are 2 pages where the edit bar is missing. One of them is Home page, the other is the blog page.

I also tried to post a message in the blog support area, but the system is not accepting any posts/replies, it just spins..... and never saves.

Okay,

Looks like I fixed the problem.

The problem just coincidentally appeaered when I added and removed the blog.

The problem was with a twitter feed on one of my templates.

I had the line:

<script src="http://ajax.googleapis.com/ajax/libs/jquery/1.3.2/jquery.min.js" type="text/javascript"></script>

Which I really didn't need I guess as the system is already pulling jpquery and this ended up messing up Concrete's jquery.

Lesson learned :-)

When I add goolge adsense to the home page it shows nothing (particularly when i use firefox). If I remove them, then there is no problem. I am using only the plain yogurt theme. Please help.
