To change the images, Put the page in edit mode, simply click on the photo, select 'edit'>>click on the current image>> you'll get a drop down, select 'choose new file'>> you'll be directed to the file manager where you can select an image or 'upload' a new one>> click on your desired image>> 'choose'>>> and you're done.

Just note that you will need to crop your images to the correct size before uploading.

Hope that helps.

Concerning the panorama photos in the Yogurt theme, it does not work that way. Someone cannot simply click "edit" and make changes. It is a lot more complicated than that.

There is no easy and obvious way inside of Concrete5 to change those photos. Somehow, finally, eventually, I was able to install one of them, but it just sort of happened. When I found a place to change the panorama photos, I did that, I attempted to installed my panorama photos and deleted the beautiful sample panorama photos. But the sample photos are still there on the computer screen, they won't leave.

I don't know how to change the panorama photos on the Yogurt theme.

Can anyone please help? Thank you very much for your gracious time and help; I am very appreciative and look forward to hearing from you.

Which version of concrete5 are you using? Which Yogurt theme are you using? Plain Yogurt or Greek Yogurt or Moldy Yogurt?

Regardless.. its pretty much a simple 40 second job. Have you tried following my instructions? How far did you get before encountering an issue?

So... I have created a short 40 second video for you to see how its done by following my instructions above.

I am using concrete5 5.5 with the default 'greek yogurt' theme. See the video here- http://bit.ly/yoD9DD

Let me know if that helps.

I installed Concrete5 version 5.4.2.2 and am using the Plain yogurt theme.

That is is clever and kind of you to make a video. It sounds exciting. I have not yet been able to open the video, to review it.

Oops -

The theme is Rigid - Light.

I have been working on two different website. One of them has a Plain yogurt theme, which does have the pretty sample panorama photos. I have left them there, not yet replaced them.

The theme is Rigid - Light.
I was complaining about the Rigid - Light theme, which also has the pretty sample panorama photos. I am not able to change the panorama photos in the Rigid - Light theme.

I don't understand why you are not able to change the photos in the rigid light theme!?It's pretty much the same process as every other theme. You still have to make sure that the photos are the correct size before uploading so they can fit in the placeholder with the shading underneath.

Have you seen the help section for that theme? Some useful tips there, such as-

"The homepage header images, should be 990px x 456px. The subpage header images should be 990px x 180px"

"The most asked question I get - is roughly "My homepage doesn't look like yours and can't fit in the large image" - Please make sure you install all the page types included with the theme by going to "pages & themes" in the dashboard, and hitting "inspect" on this theme, then installing all the page types you're missing. After that - go to the homepage, and change the page type to "homepage"
"

Or try asking the developer through the support page. He is very helpful. http://www.concrete5.org/marketplace/themes/rigid-light/support/...

If you still can't get it done after going through the help section then I can have a look for you if you send me some login details. If you don't feel comfortable sending me your password and login details then you could create another user with some generic password and delete that user account afterwards. Send me your url and details in a PM.

Let me know how you get on.

best wishes,

You're very welcome. Just for future reference (for others who may have the same problem and need guidance) how did you manage to get it done? What was the process you went through?

Anyway, glad you got there in the end. Hope you have a great day too. :)

Best wishes,

When I realized the theme I was having problems with was Rigid-Light and not Plain Yogurt,
then I was able to move forward.

I went to the Concrete5 website that described the free Rigid-Light theme, and I read about the theme. The designer of the theme had some info about the theme, and also had a website telling about that one theme.

I found out the Rigid-Light theme has a special "block" for viewing panorama slide images. I installed that block. Then, it was suddenly quick and easy to install my own panorama photos.

To open the video, just click on that link I gave you and depending on your connection you may have to wait about 10-20secs for it to load and it will autoplay once its loaded.

I have a new and different question about the panorama photos in the Rigid-Light theme.

I was able to successfully install my own panorama photos.

But my photos (and not the beautiful sample photos) are blocking the important drop-down menu in the upper right corner of the photos and of the website.

The long drop-down menu for the "Students" is blocked. The website is:www.www.EmeraldInternationalSchool.com...

Another minor concern about the upper right menu bar, is that when I click on it to change screens, nothing happens for a few seconds or clicks. The change-page menu bar is slow to work, in a subtle way.

Question: How do I bring the drop-down "Students" menu bar in front of the newly installed panorama photos?

Thanks for your time and help. Have a great day!

It works fine for me.
1. Menu shows in front of the slideshow.
2. Links go to their respective pages.

If you find your site behaving erratically, try clearing the cache under sitewide settings in the dashboard.

Thank you so much for the idea of clearing the cache. I did it.

On my computer screen, the drop-down menu continues to be located behind the newly installed panoramic photos.

Just had another look and it seems that it only does this on the homepage. Have you installed the homepage-type for this particular theme? Maybe thats why?

"install all the page types included with the theme by going to "pages & themes" in the dashboard, and hitting "inspect" on this theme, then installing all the page types you're missing. After that - go to the homepage, and change the page type to "homepage"
"
