Edit size/resolution of photo/picture

Is it possible to down size an uploaded picture to make it adapted for the webb?

If the image is in .jpg format, you can convert it to .png using Photoshop or any other image tools. Then it will be less in size.

My Front End Uploader addon can be set to scale or crop an image before it is added to the file manager.
