editing a page

I'm unable to add a block or edit a couple of pages on my website. Instead of the normal 'ADD BLOCK' page I get a page with 'ADD NEW'
and 'ADD FROM MARKETPLACE' in the upper left hand corner. I'm unable to edit the page.
