Editing comments

As Admin user I can edit posted comments from within the page, but when I do so the author of the comment changes to "Admin" ? Is there a way to prevent this?
Also, I have another C5 user who does not have permission to edit comments. How can I access the permissions to change this? There is no comments area in the Dashboard as such- it all seems to be done from within the page editor.
