Editing issues

Sometimes when I try to go in and edit a page, it won't let me. All of the edit options come up, but I can't click on any boxes or add any boxes either. I can fix this by clicking on design and saving it 2 or 3 times. Has anyone else had this problem or just me?
I sometimes have this issue if I forget and start to edit in IE. I suspect it is related to loading of various Jquery scripts (plus I think there is some issue with my particular instance of IE). If I use chrome it all works fine. Does the problem occur no matter what browser you are using?
I have this problem in Firefox and IE. I haven't tried any other browsers though.
What theme are you guys using?
I am using the theme Soul Mate.
ah - my problem is definitely only IE related so I'll butt out here - was just a thought...
Anyone else??? It is hard enough teaching clients how to edit a website, adding this may be the line for some of them.
