Editing the wording of an item on a drop down menu?

Hi, I manage a small business website and love the fact that I can edit a lot of the content on Concrete 5.

I am now trying to edit the wording of an item on my main drop down menu as I am changing the wording on the corresponding page. I cannot work out how to edit it? Please help, I am not an experienced Concrete 5 user !!

Can you provide a screen shot in edit mode?

It might be the drop down you are talking about is an autonav block or page list. (you can find this out by putting the page in edit mode, then mouse over the list, left click and choose edit)

This is assuming of course that your dropdown is not hardcoded.

Thanks for your prompt response. In edit mode if I click on the drop down it goes to that page. If I right click it brings up the usual menu as if I was browsing. If I go to 'edit this page' and click on the drop down menu it highlights the block that the menus are in? I have attached a screenshot with a few images....thanks again!!

Those look like they are page titles. Go to dashboard sitemap and see if they are the same as what you are wanting to change.

Change the name of your pages.

Either in the sitemap or the actual page (while logged in) click properties, then you'll see 'Name' - 'Page name' - 'Page ID:***'.

Change 'Page name'
