Editing content in FF broken in IE
Permalink
New to c5....
I change content in FF on the base installation, when I view in an IE tab, the content is not there. There is a blank main area under the image, no footer info either.
see below screen shots, first one is FF, other is IE, this is after publishing the content.

works in Chrome and FF, blank in ie7.
You aren't by any chance logged in FF and Chrome and not in IE. Did you publish the page? Exit edit mode->publish.
If this is not the problem, do you have the website online? Useful so that we can see what is actually going wrong

to get to the page:
user/pswd = concrete5/concrete5
to get to the page:

Well The content is there.. It's in the source code. Which block are you using, normal content block? This makes it disappear. Could you copy the text and place it in another content block? Might show up then?
I assume I am using normal content.
All I did was create new page in sitemap, visit it, then edit the 'main content' block on the page.
I added a new 'content block' on the envision page, same issue, shows up in FF but not in IE.
logon to edit site is concrete5/concrete5 .
Love c5 so far.

Once I edited the page source it worked.
I had to remove this section:
Once this was removed the rest of the page showed up. Why is this?

Once this was removed the rest of the page showed up. Why is this?
I pasted info from m$ word, could this be causing it?
That was it. Thanks for taking the time and giving me the nudge in the right direction.

Seems like a word bug then. Maybe it's something for the developers to look into. I actually thought it should work anyway. But apparently not, he?
cutting and pasting from word is a nightmare beyond our control.
there's actually a little button in tinyMCE's toolbars (perhaps one of the advanced options) that you can hit instead of Ctrl-V which will clean up words styles.
the fact that the content still worked on everything BUT internet explorer is in a word, awesome.

Funny how c&p'ing from one of their own product$ works in everything but another of their product$.
I'm apparently having the same problem. But what's even more strange is that the edits don't show up. Very Strange .. .i will check to see if any of the content was copied from Word and included all that lovely office style code crap....
