Email problems

I'm building a site and have added a 'contact us' form. I listed the email address I created with my host server under the options tab in the forms block, but when I tested it no email was delivered. Do I need to list it somewhere in system settings?

Can you send an email to your new address through your normal mail client?

Oh - also, you can check C5's log report to see information about any problems it encounters while sending email. Go to Dashboard - Reports - Logs (from the tab across the top).

Hello Kate,
Thanks for the reply. In answer to your first post, yes I can send email normally. In regard to log reports, here's a copy:

Hello

I've never registered admin@henryhandmadesoap.com. Could that be the source of the problem?

I see that domain name does not resolve to an IP address. If you mean you haven't registered the domain name "henryhandmadesoap.com", then yes, that would definitely prevent mail from being delivered to any address at that domain, even if you have web hosting and email addresses set up with that domain name.

Thanks. The domain was already registered, I guess I didn't make that quite
clear. Anyway, it turned out to be a problem with the server and it's
working now.
