Error uploading files in file manager

Every time I try to upload a new file in file manager the progress bar shows it loading then right at the end it turns red with an error that I am unable to read as it becomes truncated

What version of concrete5 are you using?
I think I recall a bug in earlier versions of Version 8 that suffered from an error like you are describing.

Make sure you’re in in the filemanager window or a folder, - uploading fails if you’re trying to upload into a search result window.
Maybe that’s the case.
