Thanks to all who have help so far...

I have users who can now edit their member content without changing the theme or other aspects. They can also add file and add pictures to their member pages.

In the course of trying out a few of the users pages in "login as user" mode the users are exiting dashboard and returning to the sites home page rather than their member pages. Is there a way to change this?
