Extended form add on

I am using the Extended Form add on and was wondering if anyone else was experiencing this issue.
When I place the form on my page, it always clears that block to my left column, which has a float: left property. I know that the entry field has a clearfloat property on it, but is there any way to keep this from happening?
I've tried to take the float off of my left column, but it screws up my layout.
