external links selection boxes

I am using firefox as my browser. When I select any of my external links and then return to my site, the selection box around the text of the link I clicked is huge! Is there any way to change the size of this?
Sounds like a CSS issue. Try looking for the "visited" or "active" selectors in your style sheet for that id or class.
How do I get to my style sheet? And once there, what should I change the "active" or "visited" methods to?

the easiest pages to see it on is 'Your Resources' Click on any of the side bar links. Some will be external links and some subpages with a lot of external links to choose from.
