Fatal Error on Edit Block

Hi All:
I received this error when trying to edit a block.
Not sure how to fix it exactly - anyone have an idea?

Yes, I've cleared the cache and that didn't work.
As for deleting the block, I can definitely try this. I'll get back to you!

Deleting the block wasn't a good idea.
After deleting it, the option to add a new block disappeared.

Try this:
clear the cache and go to system & settings/database XML and refresh the database

Will this affect my theme in any way? Will blocks still work after, etc?
That half-worked. My pages load now but I can't edit blocks I made in 5.4.2.2...
You could also try to delete the block and add it again or revert a version or two of the page.
