fatal error

I uninstalled the add-on ‘Gradient + drop shadows on anything’.
Now some of the pages are not loading. I get this message.
"Fatal error: Call to a member function getBlockTypeHandle() on a non-object in /home/itit4948/public_html/updates/concrete5.6.3.1_updater/concrete/core/libraries/block_view_template.php on line 41"
I've re-installed the plug-in but still getting the same message.
I have located that .php page in our c-panel directory but no ideas what to do to fix the error.

Did you remove the add on from all pages before you deinstalled it?
No I did not. I began removing it page by page, then, thinking I could save some time, I uninstalled the plugin. That's when I got the fatal error - but only on some pages. I reinstalled the plugin after that. But think there's another stage to installation, which I haven't done, as the plugin does not appear in my block list.
Any way, I'm recreating the pages now.
But still appreciate any help to retrieve tha fatal error pages.
